We are Sandy Raulston and Ted Birbilis - longtime dealers and collectors who have a vast knowledge of antiques, collectibles and art - in- cluding many obscure fields. We both began collecting at an early age and both subsequently found employment assisting estate liquida- tors. Working our way from the bottom up, we each became extremely familiar with the process of sorting, organizing, researching and pricing the entire contents of a home.
For many years we traveled to major antiques shows across the country where we gained insight into vast areas of collecting, as well as forming relationships with major collectors and dealers. We now produce three major annual antiques events as well as operating a suc- cessful antiques and design business in Pasadena. These endeavors combine to give us a clear and concise picture of an ever-changing market, which we incorporate into our estate sale business.
We are well connected to privately broker high-end items to specialized clients who wouldn't otherwise have knowledge about them. This access allows the client to realize a fuller monetary potential than if important pieces were just sold in the regular course of an estate sale. We also have the means to purchase outright entire estates and collections in cases where an on-site sale is not practical.
